The Local Moms Network was founded to deliver hyper-local resources and community connections to moms in suburbs across the country. Our first location was launched in Greenwich, Connecticut in 2015. Since then, we have grown to over 100 community based sites across the nation. Our content is created for moms by moms and provides a user-friendly connection in local communities via online features and comprehensive resources, social media engagement, community inclusive events, monthly newsletters and time-saving guides.
The CharlestonMoms Network site was founded with the very simple goal of saving you time and energy by providing a comprehensive collection of local events and resources, building our community, and general information that we find helpful to local families including many other topics highlighting the joyous chaos that comes along with being a parent.

Amber Smith
Amber grew up in Connecticut and attended college at The University of Rhode Island, where she graduated in 2007. After living in Fairfield, Connecticut for 13 years and raising their three kids together, Amber and her husband, Cliff (who is a local realtor here in Charleston with the Cassina Group), moved down to Charleston, South Carolina in July 2023. They have a son Camden who is 8, a daughter Kennedy who is 6, a son Hudson who is 2 and a German Shepherd, Penny, who is 4. They are thrilled to be putting roots down here in the lowcountry and to be able to call this amazing southern state home. Amber was the previous Co-Founder of FairfieldMoms, a Local Moms Network based in Fairfield, CT and she is excited to bring this incredible network down to Charleston and launch the CharlestonMoms Network
